La Dra. Shim ha estado estudiando español para participar en misiones médicas. Ha viajado a México (San Telmo y Tijuana), Panamá, Filipinas y la selva amazónica, y tiene previsto continuar sus viajes para prestar asistencia médica en todo el mundo.
Dr. Shim grew up in Baltimore, MD, but spent most of her life in Washington state. She moved to Arizona to pursue her studies in naturopathic medicine. She was drawn to naturopathic medicine because it offered more options, such as homeopathy and acupuncture, which extend far beyond medications and surgery. With these tools at her disposal, she looks forward to providing the best care to her patients.
Dr. Shim has been in practice since 2023, and since joining Su Clinica Del Valle, she has been able to care for patients in the community, working closely with them to meet their health needs. When Dr. Shim is not working, she is spending time with her family or volunteering at her church.
Dr. Shim is fluent in English and Korean.
